15 Favorite Things I Bought June 2021
Well it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here but I finally decided I should start doing a roundup occasionally (maybe monthly) of any favorite new thing’s I’ve added to our life that might be something of interest to someone out there on the inter webs. So here goes:
Ford’s new beach poncho - I mean we live in southern California now it felt like a must
A re-order of Ford’s vitamins - these for general immunity defense, these because someone suggested them when potty training to help keep his tummy calm & now he just loves them
A re-order of my favorite face moisturizer - I use it in place of lotion, it’s more of a serum.
A re-order of the tape I use to tape my mouth shut sleeping - YES this is a thing. NO it is not weird at all. PLZ read Breath.
This hat and this shirt for Ford to wear to school later this month on Hoe Down Day - they said wear your country/farmer gear and I thought this would be an easy, comfortable, & creative way to do that without a big hot costume
This ginormous Paw Patrol toy Ford is currently obsessed with - we got it for him 4th of July weekend when we said it was a celebration for America’s birthday. I’m sure it’s exactly what our founding fathers had in mind.
This pair of super inexpensive Old Navy sandals that I bought as my “inside” house shoes. I then bought them in white as regular out of the house sandals. YOU GUYS they are so comfortable I’m going to order more.
This crab cake mix because it is THE BEST - here’s a link to how I make crab cakes using it. Those will be on the menu in our house soon.
This new tub toy that’s still on it’s way because we threw out a lot of tub toys in the move & Ford keeps asking me where they all went - he helped to pick this one out so fingers crossed!
These easy stick on labels for Ford’s school clothes & water bottles.
These portable blackout shades for Ford’s bedroom. Eventually with the remodel we will do built in black out shades but for the short term these are helpful!
Ford’s backpack - it’s pretty big for him but really it was more for packing stuff for school and for him to feel like he had school supplies like the big kids.
This $9 xylophone - because Ford had one in Chicago that he never used so it got packed with baby toys and of course it is the ONE thing he keeps asking about here. Since it is packed away somewhere in the abyss of boxes in our garage I got him this and he loves it. Though he keeps calling it his keyboard….
These flushable wipes for Ford - now that he is potty trained I’m finally making the switch to flushable wipes
My new straw beach hat - I bought mine at a local surf shop but it’s very similar to this one!
